One Beginning, Three Journeys: Pathways in Healthcare

Thu, Jun 18 · 7:00 PM EDT

About this session

Three physicians who started in the same place and ended up in completely different worlds, a health plan CEO, an AI company's chief medical officer, and an academic interventional pain physician, talk candidly about the non-linear careers that got them there.

Young Jain Professionals (YJP) hosted this virtual panel on career pathways in healthcare, moderated by Shikha Kothari, YJP advisor. The conversation covers career pivots, what AI in medicine actually looks like today (versus the hype), the reality of health tech startups and early-stage capital, ethical erosion in American healthcare, and the difference between an impactful career and a successful one.
